Marking their birthdays when your children are younger is tricky isn’t it. They’re unlikely to remember a party (although they’ll of course enjoy it at the time) & they don’t need any big gifts so you can end up with a million plastic toys that they play with once & discard. That’s why I introduced birthday mini sessions, a chance to mark these big milestones & their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th birthdays. The sessions are so fun, we just play games & all the while I capture images that both you & they will be able to treasure forever.Sessions are super relaxed, playing peekaboo behind the curtains, snowball fights, racing across the studio & of course a hue number balloon to mark the occasion.
I sort everything, from the big number balloon to all the toys. There are outfit options in the studio for little ones over 18 months but the choices are limited, therefore it’s best to bring an option for them to wear.
Most sessions are 30-45mins, they’re incredibly relaxed, no pressure & I guarantee to capture a gallery of images that you will adore.

I prefer to keep my photography packages super simple & totally transparent. Every session comes with prints because I know how little time you have to organise anything in the early years & you should be able to see your beautiful images on the wall.

Sessions are £300 | Book any time, but I would recommend getting in contact 2-3 months before their birthday to ensure I have availability.
He’s an absolute pickle for photos & never lets us take any, but in Suzi’s studio he literally had the best time playing & within 5mins totally forgot he was having his photo taken. We asked for the session as a 2nd birthday gift from his aunts & are so over the moon that we have these images to look back on & remember his incredible personality at this age.

Book any time, but I would recommend getting in contact 2-3 months before their birthday to ensure I have availability.
These sessions are perfect to celebrate those early birthday milestones e.g. the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & even 6th birthdays. I can shoot any age, but these are the ones who seem to get the most out of my sessions.
All of my milestone sessions are at my home studio in Hemel Hempstead. I have everything we’ll need here & you can relax with a drink while I capture beautiful photos of your little one.
I have everything we will need in the studio, although I do recommend bringing an outfit option for any children aged over 18 months as I have less options available for toddlers & children.
If you would like to bring a sibling then a family session is best. It gives us more time to capture all of you together, plus both children together, as well as individual photos.
Yes absolutely. I have two small dogs who are super friendly, but I can also keep them out of the way incase your dog was less keen on furry friends. We have a big garden your fur baby can play in when not having their photo taken & I’d capture some photos of your dog on their own, as well as family shots with you all together.
Although possible it’s best to discuss this on an individual basis as my studio is only small & if baby is unsettled on the day passing them round to different people could affect the variety of images we are able to capture.
The first gallery you receive will have a minimum of 200 images in & they will have had a first stage edit. This gallery usually comes out a week after the session. You then select the images you’d like (20 included, additional images are £20) & let me know when you are finished selecting. My editing lead-time is usually around 3 weeks, but if you need the images sooner simply let me know & I can rejig my editing list.
My milestone sessions usually last 30 - 45 mins, this maximises on the time when they’re super excited to be somewhere new & playing games.
Not to worry at all, toddlers especially can have moments when they are shy, or unsure. We take the session at their pace & are always sure to find a game that will bring them out of their shell.

You can come in, we’ll have a natter all the while I’ll be capturing beautiful photos of your son or daughter. My approach is very relaxed so you don’t need to feel nervous at all. Plus having done this now for 11 years I have seen it all & can promise you that whatever happens you will have a stunning gallery of images to choose from.
